Red Bull Music Academy’s new quarterly night at Fabric gets off to the best possible start with the visit of the Brainfeeder posse. Flying Lotus, label honcho and inspirational DJ/producer/laptop warrior, will be bringing his hyperkinetic live show to the stage, mixing beats, bleeps, burps and bumps into a non-stop bombardment of booty–rattling funk. Just as Flylo was once an Academy participant (Melbourne, 2006), one of Brainfeeder’s new artists, TOKiMONSTA, will be one of the fresh faces in London, 2010. Currently still under arrest for 'astro-vandalism', she'll be bringing her mind-bending Billboard rap bombardments and dreamy electronica out for the Brainfeeder bash. With another Academy alumnus, Dorian Concept, as well as Daedelus, Gaslamp Killer, Nosaj Thing, and guests J.Rocc, Martyn, Dimlite and Kode 9 completing the line-up, this is sure to be one of the highlights of this year’s London takeover.
