Manchester native Mazzie aka Mazworth is one to keep an eye on. A part of the ever-growing creative force that is LouisDen, he has been sitting in the wings, honing his craft and it seems that he is ready to step out. He recently took part in the Louis Den Beat Cypher and sent through some of tracks he had prepared for the night, which was a collection of ideas that showcased him in his element.

First up is "Crest", a melodic down-tempo ride through filtered synths and swinging percussion, holds the most iTunes spins to date but for those that like their beat music served on a platter of sample chops with a side of mono leads, then the second offering, "Spooky Sample Flip" is for you. The final track "Prophecy" is a hypnotic bleep-fest that is sure to win him accolades from 8-bit fanatics the world over.

According to the man himself, an EP is in the works for 2011.
