Over the weekend the internets got ahold of a previously unreleased Black Thought gem. The song is "Mona Lisa," and it showcases BT's lyrical dexterity as he gives a modern day version of Slick Rick's song of the same name. The track was recorded around the time period before the release of The Roots' LP, Phrenology, and was intended for Black Thought's solo LP, Masterpiece Theater, which ended up being shelved indefinitely. Karriem Riggins on the beat.
