Chances are if you've already heard of Lakim it was through us or you heard him on 22Tracks. Since I feel that Lakim is pretty nice with the beats but only a small handful of people know about him, I decided to put him up next on our "Hypedog's Underdogs" producer spotlight. Lakim represents Lynchburg, VA and has been making beats for almost six years. He started out the MPC 2000 XL and made an interesting switch to software. Lakim now uses FL 9, ACID Pro 7, and Reason4 at the moment. Some of his influences would be his father, Earl. B (he got BEATS!!!), Pete Rock, Dilla, K-Def, and Large Professor.
