House Shoes & DJ Rhettmatic – King James Version Chapter 1-5 (J Dilla Tribute LP)

To officially kick off J Dilla's month DJ House Shoes has released King James Version Chapter 1-5 to the masses for  free. These chapters were mixed and arranged by House Shoes and recorded/mastered by LA's Rhettmatic in 2008 from the original vinyl sampled by J Dilla. House Shoes takes us on a journey through the records that Dilla used to craft the classics we all fell in love with. Some of the samples are instantly recognizeable, but others are great because they show how creative Dilla had to be to chop and manipulate them to be the gems they would become for other artists.
